Varda Raises $251M Series D at $1.6B Valuation to Scale In-Space Drug Manufacturing

Varda Space Industries has raised a $251 million Series D co-led by Lux Capital and Natural Capital, reportedly valuing the El Segundo company at $1.6 billion. The money will fund more orbital missions as Varda pushes toward delivering the first medicine manufactured in space to patients on Earth.
