Hardware Design and Battery Life
The Neurable One represents a standalone venture for Neurable, developed independently without hardware partner Master & Dynamic. Designed for everyday listening as well as neurotechnology applications, the headphones come equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC).
Battery life delivers up to 22 hours of playback during standard use, though endurance drops to 12 hours when EEG tracking is enabled.
EEG Sensor Integration and Signal Processing
For physiological monitoring, the Neurable One features 12 fabric-based EEG sensors woven directly into the ear cushion padding. To ensure reliable readings despite head movement, the device employs built-in algorithms designed to isolate EEG brain data from ordinary motion and jaw activity.
Cognitive Tracking and App Features
Using its sensor array, the Neurable One monitors brain activity to evaluate focus, fatigue, and burnout risk. The system specifically tracks Alpha Peak Frequency as a core metric for assessing cognitive state and overall brain function.
Data gathered by the headphones connects to a companion app, which alerts users when their focus begins to wane and advises them to take breaks.
